Jerry, longing for connection, is disappointed when his Scrabble partner fails to show. His affection for Edna is complicated by her loyalty to her late husband. Encouraged by his stuffed alligator, Jerry hesitantly hopes for a game with Edna but is heartbroken when she asks for his table instead.

Going Where the Path Leads

So, I had a choice before me: I could cling to my story as it was written, including all book and song references, and pay a possibly exorbitant amount in licensing fees, OR I could rewrite certain sections, change the references or take them out completely.
